Eden Gardens in Sydney has this stairway with windows and stuff. Pretty cool stuff.
On another note, Im thinking of getting the Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3. The good thing is that it would make my 18-55 kit lens obsolete, so I could sell that for a little extra gold.

This is the first shot I’ve uploaded taken with my new 50mm f/1.8 prime. Ironically, it doesn’t actually take advantage of the lenses new features, in any particularly noticeable way.
Anywho, I’m actually very happy with this shot, I like its minimalism and harsh contrast. It also reflects my new found process of using camera colour settings more. It gives me more immediate results and helps me to see what I could do to the shot in post production. Continue reading
I was a little unsure about putting this shot up. It’s always hard for a photographer to view their own shots objectively, without letting the memories and emotions from the time get in the way. Hence the unsureness. But anyway, here it is, the roof of the Australian National Art Galley. I really like the pattern created by all the triangles and the different shades of gray in various areas. I hope you like it as much as I do.
